Clitus Eugene Hollins of Sheffield passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the age of 76. His visitation will be Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The graveside service will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield with Larry Kilpatrick officiating.
Clitus retired as an engineer from Martin Industries and enjoyed working on boats. He was preceded in death by his father, Turner Hollins; mother, Algie Hollins; and great-granddaughter, Carlie Fraesmer.
He is survived by his sons, David Hollins (Darlene) of Muscle Shoals and Darren Hollins, of Galax, VA; brothers, Steve Hollins, Donald Gene Hollins (Judy) and Ronald Dale Hollins all of Sheffield; sister, Carol Garner (Thomas) of Waterloo; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Garner, Andy Logan, Ethan Ricketts, Mike Thomas and Steve Morris.
