Annie Mae Wright Bowling of Leighton passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the age of 74. The visitation will be Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Keith Prince and Melinda Mears officiating. She will be buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Annie retired after 29 years as a School Bus Driver for the Colbert County Schools. She was a member of the Shady Grove United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, O’Neal Bowling; parents, William and Letha Wright; son, James Bowling; son-in-law, Greg Coan; and sisters, Lorene Clemmons, Pauline Smith, and Jewel Dean Flanagan.
She is survived by sons, Michael Bowling (Charlotte), Paul Clemmons and Lance Clemmons; daughter, Carol (Bowling) Coan; grandchildren, Emily Counts (Pricie), Kimberly Taylor (Heath), Whitney Farris (Ross), Haley Aycock (Josh), Cody Bowling, Destiny Seymour, Tanya George (Brian), and Louisa Bowling; and great-grandchildren, Little Pricie, Caroline, Rivers, Jackson, Grayson, Ayden, Braxton, Gracie, Tallen, Blakelynn, Michael, Auburn, and one on the way, Levi.
Pallbearers will be Cody Bowling, Paul Clemmons, Pricie Counts, Heath Taylor, Ross Farris, Josh Aycock, and Brian George.
