Clindel V. Harbison

Rev. Clindel V. Harbison, age 89, born April 28, 1931, in Walker County, Alabama, went to his Heavenly reward on March 2, 2021.
Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, March 6, 2021, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with Burial at Sardis on the River Road. Rev. Walter Hedstrom will officiate.

He was a 1949 graduate of Cordova High School and attended Travecca Nazarene College. He was an ordained elder and served faithfully in the ministry for over 60 years as pastor and leader. He ministered in multiple states, including Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida, and Louisiana. He was an active member of the Cabot, Arkansas Pilgrim Nazarene Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulys and Mary Harbison; his wife, Betty J. Holsombeck Harbison; daughter, Sharron Harbison; son, Stephen Harbison; grandson, Trenton Harbison; brother, Wayne Harbison and sister, Margo Harbison.

He is survived by his sister, Faye Stamps; children, Suzanne Harbison Hutchison (Chester), Shawnda Harbison Swearengin (Michael) and Scott Harbison (Lorna); 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
