Clifford Wayne Brooks, age 55, of Springfield, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Friday, May 12th in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Pastor Zach Vickery officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 3pm Friday in the Jarrett Cemetery in Russellville, KY.
The family will receive friends from 10am until time of the service at 1pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Brooks was born December 22, 1967, in Russellville, KY to the late Prentice and Thelma Brooks Jr. He had worked in construction doing caulking and waterproofing most of his life.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Brooks; sister, Wanda Jean Brooks; grandson, Bryson King Brooks; niece, Thelma Brooks; and a sister-in-law, Regina Brooks.
He is survived by sons, Emmett Coleman Brooks, Joshawa Wayne Brooks, and Jacob Brooks; daughter, Sara Elizabeth Brooks; 19 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brothers, Roy Brooks, and Prentice Brooks Jr.; sisters, Linda Stevens, and Norma Hamms.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
