Funeral services for Mr. Clayton “Doc” Williams, age 89, are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, May 31, 2015 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Dan Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Mr. Williams passed away late Friday in Lexington. He was born September 7, 1925 in Cedar Grove to the late William and Eva Stewart Williams. He retired after over 30 years from Milan Arsenal. He was a member of Fairview Church of Christ and Woodmen of the World, a former member of the Lexington Lions Club, and was a Mason. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Audra Williams, one sister, Zela Morgan, and one step-grandson, Dr. Joe Wilhite. Survivors include his endearing friend, Ms. Elwanda Powers of Lexington; one nephew, Jeff Morgan of Illinois; one niece, Jill Kelly of Illinois; his stepson, Dr. Joe Wilhite (Millie) of Lexington; his stepdaughter, Doris Del Biaggio; three step grandchildren, Cynthia McCormick, Greg Rutta, and Phillip Rutta.
