Clarence Isbell Taylor, age 91, of Boaz, AL, passed away on July 9, 2024, at Shepherd’s Cove, Albertville, AL.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Betty Lou Taylor and daughter; Shirley Ann Taylor.
He is survived by his wife; Claudell Taylor, daughter; Susan (Wayne) Decker, son; Jimmy (Sandy) Taylor, stepsons, Johnny Chamblee, Steve Chamblee, Michael Chamblee, and stepdaughters; Martha Eklan, Cynthia Bevel, and Claudette Chamblee, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Taylor retired from H.D. Lee Company and served in the Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family and making everyone laugh. He loved watching Fox News and jigsaw puzzles.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at Boaz Carr Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m until 2 p.m before the service at the funeral home. The interment will follow at Forrest Home Cemetery. Bro. Steven R. Taylor will officiate. Pallbearers will be Allen Gray, Brandon Kelley, Jackson Kelley, Trent Steger, Skip Bonder, and James Watkins.
He will be greatly missed. “We will always carry your memory in our hearts”.
