Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Greene Bivins, age 85 of Huntsville, died Saturday surrounded by family. Mrs. Bivins was a member of Faith Chapel and helped Faith Chapel get started
She was preceded in death by her first husband Walter Greene, second husband James Bivins, and son Rusty Greene.
She is survived by her eight sons, Gerald Greene, Larry Greene, Steven Greene, Randy Greene, Justin Greene, Todd Greene, Shawn Greene, Kenneth Bivins, three daughters, Sonya Tolbert, Shirley Davis, and Pamela Maranda, 33 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday, June 16, 2014. Mrs. Bivins will lie-in-state at Faith Chapel Church from 10:00 until 11:00AM Tuesday, June 17, 2014. A service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Joel McGraw Pastor and David Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
