Clabe “Tre Khalifa” Counts III was born November 30, 1992, in Pulaski, Tennessee. He moved to Columbia, Tennessee with his family while still a young child.

Tre died unexpectedly on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the tender age of 24 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Tre was best known for his infectious smile and being a humorous guy. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Tre accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized while a member at Higher Heights Ministries. During his teen years, he became a member of Trinity Family Worship Center and truly loved the worship experience and fellowship there. That was his true church family. Tre received his formal education in Maury County Public School System.

In his youth, he developed a lifelong love for football – playing and traveling with the Bulldog Travel League. He excelled in the sports throughout his middle school and high school years; he was a diehard fan of the Florida Gators and Atlanta Falcons.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving & doting mother, Karen Chatman of Columbia, TN; father, Clabe (Donna) Counts, Jr. of Lewisburg, TN; three sons, Aiyden La’Rae, Elias Kyrie and Josiah A’Keem Khalifa Counts all of Columbia, TN; three sisters, Kalesha (Timmy) Savage of Cincinnati, OH, Chasity and Abbey Counts of Pulaski, TN; two brothers, PR2 Khalil Counts of Lemoore, CA and Mustafa Slater of Columbia, TN; four uncles, Victor Chatman of Antioch, TN, Kimothy Chatman of Pulaski, TN, Michael and Ray Counts of Mt.
