Christopher Dewayne Holt, 42, of Rogersville passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016. He was a 1992 graduate of Lauderdale County High School and worked as a boilermaker with Local #455. He enjoyed riding his buggy and tending to his cows. Most of all he loved spending time with his boys.
Visitation will be today, Jan. 3, 2017 from 5–8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Pat Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Ingram Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael White, Lloyd Wallace, Dan Bevis, Todd Gordon, Eddie Cuevas, Chris McNatt, Josh Hammond, and Gil Harbin.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy and Elizabeth Holt, Junus and Mauvelean Butler and mother-in-law, Patsy Slaton.
He was survived by his sons, Dalton (Halie) Holt and Paxton Holt; parents, Gerry and Carolyn Holt; brother, Chad (Amber) Holt; father-in-law, Wayne Slaton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
