FLORENCE-The Secret Sisters will put their unique brand of melodic magic to work on Friday, December 13, 
to help out their friend Kerry Gilbert, who was recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The evening will also include performances by the Wildwood Ruminators, up-and-coming singer/songwriter Jackson Nance and the KGB. Swamper David Hood will lend his funky bass sound to the mix and Swampette Judy Hood will emcee the event which will be held a The Marriott Conference Center at 7:00 pm doors open at 6:00 pm.
Kerry, who has been a major player in the local music scene for three decades, is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatments every three weeks. Friday’s concert will raise money to help defray the mounting medical expenses associated with his treatments.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the performances begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at Bank Independent and at the front desk of the Shoals Marriott.
