Funeral service for Christine Wallace McLamb, 91, will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Begemann officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. McLamb died on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born November 22, 1931, in Morgan County, to Joe Cephus Wallace and Victoria Roper Wallace. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and worked 41 years as a nurse at Parkway Medical Center, where she retired in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her husband: John C. McLamb, her parents, and siblings: Estelle Wallace Vest, Clyde Wallace, Sherman Wallace, Shirley Wallace, Hilton Wallace, Lucian Wallace, Alton Wallace, Robert Wallace, Trumon Wallace, and Tillman Wallace.
Survivors include
Son – Michael McLamb (Kelly Cole McLamb)
Grandchild – Aubrey McLamb
A host of Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Wallace, Truman Wallace, Mack Vest, Johnny Vest, Greg Roden, and Joe Logan.
