Funeral services for Christine Vest, 77 of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Powell’s Chapel Church, Bro. Dennis Shadix officiating with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 12-2 at the church.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Vest passed away October 4, 2017 at he residence. She was born January 17, 1940 to Robert Alton and Marjorie Etta Watts Glaze.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert Allen Higgins; second husband, Lloyd Ray Vest; son, John David Vest; brothers, George and Ted Irvine; great-grandchildren, Dario and Bailey Higgins.
Survivors include her children, Jim (Joyce) Higgins, Scheryl (Larry) Johnson, Thomas Higgins, Patrick (Lisa) Vest, Shaina Mitchell, Darryl (Lori) Vest, Danny (Mandy) Vest, Dana Vest, Carole Adcock; nineteen grandchildren; twenty seven, great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tim Martin, Darryl Vest, Thomas Higgins, Lorne Mitchell, Caleb Vest and Austin Smith.
