Cheryl “Sherry” Ann Robinson Chappell was welcomed into her Saviors arms on May 3, 2024. We, as her family, know for sure that the love of her life, Mike, was next in line to welcome her. Sherry was born on April 5, 1948 in Lauderdale County, MS but moved to Columbus, MS as a child. She graduated from SD Lee High School in 1966. Mike Chappell swept her off her feet, and the two were wed on November 26, 1969. They lived their lives in love and were inseparable until his death in August 2023. Sherry worked as a dedicated and compassionate RN at NMMC for 24 years, she loved to read, watch the Hallmark channel, playing mah jong, marbles, cards and board games and loved to online shop. She loved her Lord Jesus, and greatest joy was her family and grandchildren.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be serving their friends

Sherry is survived by her children who were her pride and joy: Shawn (Shannon) Chappell, Michelle (Brad) Baughman, Shad (Tara) Chappell. She is also survived by her wonderful grandchildren: Trey (Lakin) Matthews, Sean (Kaitlyn) Baughman, Chance (Victoria) Baughman, Hunter (Rebecca) Chappell, Will Thomas Chappell, Skyler Baughman, Tate Chappell and great grandchildren Addilyn Matthews, Virginia Baughman, Kash Matthews, Micah Chappell and Peyton Baughman.
