Funeral Services for Mrs. Cheryl Lane Buckhannan Haynie, age 71 of Lineville, will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Wayne Adams officiating. Burial will follow Barfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Haynie passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab. She was a lifelong resident Clay County until recently moving to be closer to her family. She and her husband Frank drove over the road for about 10 years before she worked for and retired from Wellborn Cabinets. She was a longtime member of Good Hope Delta Baptist Church. Cheryl was extremely kind hearted and full of love. She always enjoyed time with her family and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Paul G. Haynie(fiancée Anna Jennings) of Jacksonville, Amanda Haynie of Montgomery and Frank A. Haynie II of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren; sisters: Jackie Hatfield, Dereath McAdams, Robin Buckhannan, Dawn Willingham(Walt) and Nancy Carpenter; Chad and Anita Jenkins; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ruth Buckhannan and her husband, Frank A. Haynie I.
Pallbearers will be Gary Calhoun, Gary McKinney, Kevin Shears, Coty Gragg, PJ Brinson and Lawrence McAdams.
Her visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville.
