Celebration of Life for Cheryl Ann (Hindman) Leightley, age 56, of Decatur, will be Monday, December 15, 2014, 5:00 p.m. at Sykes Place on Bank, 726 Bank Street, Decatur, AL 35601.
Mrs. Leightley died Sunday, November 30, 2014, at her residence, with her husband and sister by her side. She was born July 25, 1958, in McKeesport, PA to James Hindman and Helen Sharpless Hindman, and was preceded in death by her father. Mrs. Leightley was employed by Monarch Steel.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Larry Leightley of Decatur; mother, Helen Hindman of Elizabeth, PA; one sister, Janice Lieberman of Elizabeth, PA; and one nephew, Derek Lieberman of Pittsburgh, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
