Ms. Cherie Whiteside Cole began her life’s journey on March 30, 1954. She was born in Jackson-Madison County, Tennessee, at the home her parents, Willie Mae Whiteside, and Charles Whiteside. Cherie was the first of three children.
Cherie would later reside in Downey, California becoming a cosmetology instructor, and later retired and moved back to Jackson, TN. Shortly after Cherie would relocate to Greenwood Indiana where she was a dedicated member of Church of Christ South Keystone in Indianapolis, Indiana. Where according to her minister and his wife, Ron and Kathy Carrigg, Cherie never missed a beat! She was a faithful member until her health declined.
She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Tiekeyia (Fredrick) Davis and LaDreama Whiteside of Jackson, TN. Two siblings, Charles (Nita) Whiteside of Lawrenceville, GA, and Gladys Fowler. She also leaves to cherish her memory six grandchildren, Tyrie Whiteside of Nashville, TN, Jeremiah Davis of Zambia, South Africa, Nicholas Davis, Cameron Davis, Terry Beauregard all of Jackson, Tennessee and Brennan Manuel of Tucson, Arizona; and a good friend: JoElla Brown. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that she loved dearly.
