Charlotte was born to J.W. and Roberta Smith of Troy, Mississippi, and was a graduate of South Pontotoc High School.

Charlotte had a kind and outgoing spirit and truly never met a stranger. For the past six years, she was the proud owner of Charlotte’s Liquor and Wine, where she became a familiar face in the community. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a special way of making people feel welcome.

She enjoyed trail riding and fishing and had a special love for cats. Above all, Charlotte loved her family. She was especially proud of her sons, Memphis and Seth, and was overjoyed to become a grandmother to her grandson, Chevy.

Charlotte is survived by her parents, J.W. and Roberta Smith; her sons, Memphis and Seth Wells; her grandson, Chevy Wells; her siblings, James Smith, Joshua Smith, and Susie Hollins; her half-siblings, Dawn and Donald Hollins; along with many other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louis and Leona Konkle, Ruby Hale, and James Smith.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 4, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Monday, October 5, from 11a.m. until 1p.m. at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1p.m. at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jared Smith, Hunter Jones, Jason Stepp, Chad Harlow, Chris Wells, Tristan Pratt, and Dalian Tutor.

Charlotte will be remembered for her love for her family, her outgoing personality, and the kindness she freely showed to others. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
