Charley Franklin Adams, 88 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, at his residence. Mr. Adams was born on March 24th, 1936, in Athens, to Charley W. and Julia Williams Adams.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife Sandra Adams; daughter Betty Blackwell; son Bobby Randall Adams (Debbie); step-sons Jason Wray (Beth), Shane Wray, and Trent Wray; grandson Brad Adams; step-grandchildren Seria Barnard (Ryan) and Drew Wray; 5 great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Janice Bedingfield; and granddaughter Christie Bedingfield.
A graveside service for Mr. Adams will be Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, at 12:30pm at O’Neal Cemetery, with Matt Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:30am-12:15pm, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Barry Kirk, Tony Kirk, Troy Bevins, Jason Wray, Drew Wray, and Ryan Barnard.
