Graveside Services for Mr. Charles William “Sonny” Shaddix, age 89 of Ashland, will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Lineville City Cemetery.

Mr. Shaddix is survived by two daughters: Cyndee Calloway(Joey) of Clanton, Joy Woods(Mike) of Vestavia; a son, Alan Shaddix(Staci) of Pell City; six grandchildren: Tanner Jennings of Sacramento, CA, Chance Calloway(Amy) of Clanton, Anna Shaddix and Erica Shaddix of Pell City, Noah Woods and Ethan Woods of Mount Olive; one great-grandchild, Ryan Cleckley of Clanton; plus several nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Shaddix; parents; C.D. and Gladys Shaddix; one infant child, William Lee Shaddix; siblings, Joan Hughes, Carter Shaddix and Judith Jarrett.
