The Rev. Charles Van Devender Jr., of Florence, Ala., passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 a.m. at the church. He was the husband of Lynda Van Devender.
