Funeral service for Charles Ted Waldrop, age 75, of Moulton, will be Friday, January 29, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny Mayes officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Waldrop, who died Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital, was born February 9, 1940, in Lawrence County, to Grady Waldrop and Margaret Chenault Waldrop. He was employed as an industrial electrician with 3M Corporation, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his loving wife, Millie Russell Waldrop of Moulton; two daughters, Jennifer Waldrop of Knoxville, TN, and Jessica Canalejo (Brad) of Wildwood, MO; two brothers, Howard Waldrop and James Waldrop, both of Moulton; four sisters, Helen Suggs of Palmetto, GA, Hazel Plott of Russellville, Dorothy Crumpton of Moulton, and Betty Sue Lathum of Nauvoo; and one granddaughter, Isabella Canalejo.
Pallbearers will be the deacons of Mount View Baptist Church.
