Funeral service for Charles Kevin Oden age 44 of Madison, formerly of Hartselle will be Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 3:00pm at Falkville First United Methodist Church with Brother Chuck Oden officiating with burial in the Falkville City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time on Tuesday at the Church.
Mr. Oden, who died on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Lawrence County, was born February 14, 1974 in Decatur, Alabama to Charles Arthur “Big O” Oden and Sandra Hughes Oden. His father preceded him in death. He worked as a truck driver and logistics for Xtreme Aviation, loved Alabama football, racing and watching cage fighting.
He is survived by his closest friend and companion; Kasey Amber Kearce of Madison, his son; Charles Kolton Oden of Eva, his mother; Sandra Hughes Oden of Hartselle and a sister; Nikki Powell (Will) of Falkville.
Charles Kolton Oden, Will Powell, Stone Powell, Trevor Kearce, Roger Freeman, Matt Roberts and Chris Simmons will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers are Rodney Oden, Chad Oden, Jason Logston, Jamie Logston, Stacey Letson, Michael Hughes, Lucas Anders, Cody Hughes and Chris Hughes.
