Visitation for Charles Evon Vest, age 78, of Baileyton, will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home; interment in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Vest passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Cullman Regional. He was born April 3, 1941, to James T. and Evelyn Walker.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Walker; sister, Linda Kaufman; grandson, Devon Garrett; and uncle, Leon Morrow.
Survivors include his daughter, Charlie (Justin) Garrett; son, Darin Layton; granddaughters, Chantel Smith (Jon Brown) and Ashton Garrett; great-grandchildren, Laila Brown and Grayson Brown; father, James T. Walker; sister, Dale (Arvie) Beard; and a host of family and friends.
