Charles Edward Gilchrist, age 69, of Tuscumbia, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 6-8 p.m., at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be Monday, December 23, 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Larry Dowdy officiating. Interment will be at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Gilchrist was a member of New Life Tabernacle of Muscle Shoals.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Jimmie Gilchrist; children, Phillip Gilchrist (Carol), Melinda Hanback (Sammy), Robby Gilchrist; sister, Marie Brewer; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren
