Charles David Widell, age 96, Hamilton, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Saint Paul MN on Monday, July 02, 1917 to David and Edna Widell.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 20, 2014, 6-8:00 p.m. at Hamilton First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Hollywood Hill CA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Hess Widell; son, Steven Widell; parents, David and Edna Widell.
He leaves to treasure his memory, Daughter, Susan (Sam) Tally; Son, David (Barbara) Widell, Knoxville TN; Grandchildren, Brian Talley, Mark (Roxanne) Talley, Adam Widell, Eric (Stephanie) Widell, Elizabeth (Thomas) Hitch; Great-Grandchildren, Hudson Hitch, Brayden Hitch, Hannah Talley, Jackson Talley; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
