Charles David Peters, 61, Hackleburg, Alabama, passed away March 28, 2014, at Hospice Sanctuary House in Tupelo, Mississippi.
He was a native of Lawrence County, but had lived in Hackleburg for the past several years.
He was a log cutter for Flat Harber.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2014, from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in the Wiley Branch Community. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors include wife, Dianne Peters; daughters, Valerie Peters Weeks, Rachel Peters; son, Charles David Peters; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Louise Cason, Annie Peters, Mary, Linda Peters; brothers, Danny Wade and William Ruben Peters; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Nettie Peters; brothers, Robert Bobby, Henry Peters; nephew, Brian Peters.
