Charles “Charlie” Edward Creasy – Obituary

Charles-Irons-1459510129Charles “Charlie” Edward Creasy, age 75, of Florence, Alabama, died, March 30, 2016 after a lengthy illness, with his family by his side. The visitation will be Saturday, April 2nd from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Sunday, April 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Jerry Hastings will be officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah Methodist Cemetery.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed.
He loved Jesus and was ready to go home and be with Him.

Mr. Creasy was retired from USA Block as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of The Operators Local # 320 and was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ollie Waymon Crittenden; daughter, Angela Charee Creasy; brother, Ellis Earl Creasy; and sister, Lois Keeton Hayes.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Agee, Aaron Agee, Larry Keeton, Robert Creasy, Tom Strawn, Jeremy Simpson, Daniel Lackey, and Randy Keeton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Creasy and Ron Agee.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years and 9 months, Pearlene Angel Creasy; son, Gary Wayne (Kelly) Creasy ; daughter, Anita Charlene Creasy (Ron) Agee; brother, Walter Ray (Bill) Creasy, eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

The family wishes to thank Dr. William Hobbs and staff, Dr. Felix Morris and staff, and Gentiva Hospice nurses and staff.
