Charles B. Tidwell, II of Selmer, TN Charles B. Tidwell, II was born December 1, 1948 in Booneville, MS the son of Mary Alice Brewer Tidwell and the late Charles B. Tidwell.

He was united in marriage to Paula Macak on August 12, 1972.

Mr. Tidwell graduated from Joliet Central High School in Joliet, IL. He worked for Harmon Automotive in Bolivar from 1978 until 1992 and retired from Maytag/Whirlpool of Jackson, TN in 2009 after 17 years of service as an industrial electrician. Mr. Tidwell was a member of Faith Fellowship Church in Pinson, Selmer Chapter 77, Royal Arch Masons of Tennessee, and Selmer Lodge 338, Free and Accepted Masons. Motorcycling, working on cars, and traveling, especially to Yellowstone National Park, were among Mr. Tidwell’s favorite pastimes, but his greatest love was for his Lord, his wife, children, and extended family.

Mr. Tidwell departed this life on September 17, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 9 Months, 16 Days. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Paula (Macak) Tidwell of Selmer, TN; two sons, Jonathan N. Tidwell and companion Lisa Fritz and Steven A. Tidwell and companion Tasha Gill, all of Jackson, TN; three sisters: Laura Sue Osborn of Jackson, TN, Jacqueline Dodd of Hornsby, TN, and Nancy Patterson and husband Gary of Bolivar, TN; two brothers, Tony N. Tidwell and Jimmy E. Tidwell, both of Hornsby, TN; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to his father, Mr. Tidwell was preceded in death by a son, Charles B. Tidwell, III.

Attendees are requested to wear masks and observe all social distancing guidelines for the visitations and service.

Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
