Charles A. Gibson, 87, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Amory. He was born June 19, 1929 to the late Pearce Isaac Gibson and the late Jessie Spence Gibson in Arkansas. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on old cars, watching westerns, going to auctions, fishing, and speaking to others about Jesus.
Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday November 11, 2016 at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday November 10, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home.

Gibson of Fulton, 2 Daughters, Louella (Tim) Steele of Fulton, Barbara Baldyin of IA, Grandchildren, Shannon (Rhonda) McCord of Pontotoc, Jameson Steele of Fulton, Adam Steele of Fulton, Benjamin Steele of Fulton, Mark Sansone of AR, Angela Glissen of Nashville, TN, great grandchildren, Shannon McCord, Jr., Parker James Barnes, Taalor McCord, Taryn McCord.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Ann Gibson, a daughter, Mary Elizabeth McCord, his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Pallbearers will be Shannon McCord, Jameson Steele, Adam Steele, Benjamin Steele, Mark Sansone, Johnny Gibson.
