CatherineCatherine Ann Treece, 53, of Logan, entered into rest on December 11, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 6, 1960 in Groton, Massachusetts. Catherine was a loving wife, mother and Nana. She loved her grandbabies more than anything. She never met a stranger and believed that a simple “Hello” could make some one’s day. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 11am-1pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where a memorial service will be held at 1pm. Brother Jack Armstrong will officiate.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ray Treece; mother, Lorena J. Herbert; sons, Junior (Tiffany) Treece, Christopher (Jessica) Treece; daughter, Amy (Adam) Kilpatrick; brothers, Jimmy Herbert, Richard (June) Greenwood; sisters, Linda (Luke) Valcourt, Christina (Talib) Abdullah; she was Nana to three grandchildren, Taylor Alexis Kilpatrick, Hayden Winslett Kilpatrick and Elizabeth Grace Treece.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon P. Herbert, Jr.; brothers, Stephen Blankenship and Robert Herbert.
