Mrs. Carolyn W. Edgemon passed away on Sunday night. Carolyn was born and raised in Athens, Alabama. She lived in Madison and worked for the US Army for 35 years. Carolyn loved gardening and working in her yard, and was an avid quilter and seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edgemon. She is survived her son, David, and grandson, Michael.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Maple Hill Cemetery, with Dr. Travis Wilson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 117-A Longwood Dr., Huntsville, AL 35801.
