Ms. Carolyn Sue Jeffries, age 74 of Athens, AL passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Ms. Jeffries was born on September 21, 1943 in Norfolk, VA to Robert Kennon Carpenter and Irene Bartlett Carpenter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren, Gregory Jackson and Matthew Jackson; brothers, Larry Carpenter and Richard Carpenter.
Ms. Jeffries is survived by three daughters, Karen Jackson (Bryan), Kathy Goffena (Dan Franco) and Kristy Shoulders (Jermaine); grandchildren, Anthony Jackson, Grayson Franco, Daniel Franco, Ryan Sutherland, Kyle Sutherland, Isaiah Sutherland and Jedidiah Sutherland; great-grandsons, Chase Jackson and Brysen Jackson.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
