Carolyn Sue Cunningham, age 53 of Manchester, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was born in Franklin County on September 8, 1967. A dedicated homemaker, Carolyn enjoyed taking care of family and friends. She took pride cooking large meals that included fried chicken for everyone to enjoy. She was always willing to go out of her way to help anyone in need. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Stevens; grandparents, Eunice Stevens, Martha Johnson, Dewey Stevens, and Ephraim Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Arreall Lawhorn of Manchester; grandchildren, Kaleigh, Jeremiah, Izzabel, and Summer; mother, Mary Stevens of Manchester; siblings, Laura (Jay) Justice of Manchester, Johnnie Gonzalez (Martin Cruiz) of Hillsboro, Walter Lee (Polly) Johnson Jr of Estill Springs, Henry Lee (Lisa) Stevens of Manchester, John Henry (Tanya) Stevens of Manchester, and Tammy Parham of Shelbyville; aunts, Rosa Johnson of Tullahoma, Leila Anderson of Manchester; Carolyn Ridner of Manchester; lifelong friend, Eddie Brown of Tullahoma; sixteen nieces and nephews; and many cousins. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, August 6, 2021, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
