Carolyn Janell Warren Carolyn Janell Warren, age 66, of Huntsville, AL, went to be with her Lord on February 28th,
2025. Under the care of Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, she passed peacefully, surrounded by
her loving siblings and family.

Carolyn was born January 25th, 1959 in Albertville, AL. She was a 1977 graduate of
Albertville High School, attended Snead State Junior College, and
received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from the University of
Alabama-Birmingham in 1986. Carolyn spent her teaching career serving elementary-aged
students in the Decatur and Huntsville area. Her biggest joys were music, playing piano,
and being in her happy place at the beach. She was an avid sports fan, never missing
Alabama football and basketball games, and Little League World Series Baseball. Carolyn’s
love for children was a big part of who she was; her favorite times were spent with her
nephews, great nephews & nieces. Carolyn was a long-time member of Whitesburg Baptist
Church in Huntsville, AL, where she formed her closest friendships. She sang in the choir,
and dedicated many years serving in Children’s ministries, Bible School, and the children’s choir.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Warren and Gwendolyn Gregory
Warren. She is survived by her brother, John Neal Warren (Christine); sister Martha Warren
Harrison (Gene); and sister Marie Warren Parrish; also nephews Sean Parrish; Jesse Parrish
(Teresa); Isaac Parrish (Olivia); David Harrison (Caleigh); Ben Harrison (Caroline); and
Taylor McMurtrey (Brittany).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Carolyn to either:
Whitesburg Baptist Church Children’s Music Department (website: WhitesburgBaptist.org);
or Shepherd’s Cove Hospice (website: www.shepherdscovehospice.com).

Her Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March5, 2025 at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Rock Springs Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Simmons and Phillip Roberts will be officiating. Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Harrison, David Harrison, Ben Harrison, Sean Parrish, Jesse Parrish, Isaac Parrish, Taylor McMurtrey, Bret Warren, David Roberts, Phillip Roberts and Steve Hayes. Friends can visit with the family from 9:30 until service time on Wednesday.

Arrangements are entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
