Carolyn Jane Hester, age 88, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013. She loved to cook and enjoyed needle working. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hester; daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Hugh Porter.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Karen and Tony Maynard; great-granddaughters, Krisi and Karlie Maynard; nieces, Carolyn Denton, Nell Johnson and Faye Ogden; nephew, Bob Rea; great-nephew, Steve Plemons.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 16, at 10:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in K.P. Cemetery in Russellville, Alabama, on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
