Carolyn Faye Weaver was born on May 22, 1942, in Bogota, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Emmett Morgan and Georgia Richardson Morgan. From the beginning of her life, Carolyn embodied a quiet strength and a servant’s heart that would define her years and leave a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Carolyn found her greatest joy in caring for others. Whether through crocheting thoughtful gifts, sewing with skill and patience, tending her garden, or spending countless hours in the kitchen making sure no one ever left hungry, she expressed love through action. A natural caregiver, she gave selflessly of herself, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her home was a place of comfort, nourishment, and warmth, where people felt cared for simply by being present.
On January 12, 2026, Carolyn peacefully departed this life in Tupelo, Mississippi, at the age of 83 years, 7 months, and 21 days. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and devotion will continue to live on through her family and all whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Williams and husband Rick of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; two sons, Mike King of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, and Jeremy King and wife Dana of Selmer, Tennessee; one sister, Peggy Scott of Ripley, Tennessee; five beloved grandchildren, Nick Williams and wife Rachel of Selmer, Tennessee, Nathan Williams of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Matt King and wife Sarah of Adamsville, Tennessee, Tyler King of Nashville, Tennessee, and Macey King of Michie, Tennessee; and her companion, Larry Mayfield.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe Morgan, Joy Morgan, Jerry Morgan, and Paul Morgan.
Carolyn Faye Weaver will be remembered for her giving spirit, her tireless care for others, and the love she poured into her family and community. Her life was a testament to the beauty of kindness lived out daily, and she will be deeply missed.
