Carol Ann Cooper Robinson, 77, of Huntsville, Al, died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on December 21, 2024.
Carol was born in Huntsville, AL on March 16, 1947. She married her high school sweetheart and remained his best cheerleader in every endeavor he desired for 56 years. She and Jim lived in many different states over the years, but made their final home back in Huntsville, close to her sister and brother, Janice and Jack.
Carol graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in education, and taught students from kindergarten through high school for 20 plus years. She was an especially gifted teacher of young children.
Carol is survived by her loving and devoted husband, William J. Robinson (Jim); son, William J. Robinson, Jr. (Robby), of Orange Beach, AL; three grandchildren, Bella, Makayla, and Cooper Robinson of Baldwin County, AL; siblings, Cathy Beaton of Grants Pass, OR, Janice Cooper Robinson, and Jack Cooper of Huntsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service for immediate family at Huntsville Memory Gardens on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 1 p.m.
