Carlene Rendie (Boyett) Demoplis, age 87, passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Lynchburg Nursing Home. She was born on June 8, 1934, in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late James Carl and Dovie (Meyers) Boyett. Carlene had lived in Florida, California, Oklahoma, Illinois and Michigan and Tennessee and had worked as a Hospice LPN as well as an in-home caregiver for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and taking care of her animals. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Mencer. Carlene is survived by her loving children, Laura Nipper of Fayetteville, Tennessee, Billie Hunt of Fayetteville, Tennessee, and Joanna Mangan of West Frankfort, Illinois; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Fisk of Poteou, Oklahoma; and brother, Wallace (Buddy) Boyett of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who knew Jesus as her Savior for many years. We all look forward to seeing her again in heaven. We await that glorious day when we will be reunited in eternity. I Thess 4:13-18.
