Carlena Grace Whitehead, 28, of Dennis, Mississippi, died on Monday, April 21, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Carlena was a member of Dennis Church and enjoyed attending when she was able. Her passion for music always shined through with her gift for singing, and she was an extremely talented artist that loved to draw. Carlena had a deep love for her family, her friends, and her dogs, and she cherished every moment she got to spend with them. Carlena is survived by her parents, Carl and Tracey Whitehead; brother, Kason Whitehead (Alicia); her beloved boyfriend, Josh Farris; her grandmother, Fayellen Whitehead; her aunt, Amy Dulaney; her uncle, David Whitehead (Kathy); her best friend, Allie Horn; her precious dogs, Simon and BB; her cousins, Loren Whitehead (David), Jeana Starkey (Tye), Natalie Whitehead, and Norah Whitehead; and a host of other loved family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Larry Dulaney and J.L. and Evelyn Whitehead. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Nathan Hodum and Chaplain Patrick Brooks. Interment will be in Dennis Memorial Gardens.
