Burles Ray Jeffreys, 75, Moulton, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014. The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church, with Dr. Charles Coffey and Charles Canterbuy officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Garden. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service, at the church.
He was an Army Vietnam veteran, member of Liberty United Methodist Church and past member of the Civitan and Lions clubs of Moulton and assisted in organizing and coached Little League ball for a number of years. He played independent softball for a number of years. He enjoyed playing with the love of his life, his only granddaughter, Sally Kate Saint. He was a graduate of Hatton High School and John Calhoun Technical School.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Waldrop Jeffreys, Moulton; daughter, Jennifer Fronk, Decatur; sisters, Sabra Stone, Town Creek, Shelby Simmons, Town Creek, Shoran Little, Elkmont; granddaughter, Sally Kate Saint, Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Rollins, Charles Garner, Dr. Eduardo Gonzalez, Justin Meadows, Tony Smith and Willard Blankinship.
