Buford H. Lewis 77, of Tuscumbia, died Thursday, June 27, 2013. Visitation will be Saturday 12noon until 2:00pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Steve Amos officiating.
Buford was a native of Franklin Co., AL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean and Vietnam War Eras and was a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Willie Lewis; his brothers J.B., Curtis, Charlie, Gene, and Earl Lewis; and his sisters Polly Etheridge and Shelly Montgomery.
Survivors include his sons: Buford Dale Lewis (Phyliss), Ron Lewis (Janna), Brian Lewis, William Danny Lewis, and Mark Lewis; his daughters: Pamela J. Romans and Christy Calhoun (Ramey); and his sister Betty Martin; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
