Bruce Crownover, age 61 of Winchester, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on July 12, 1961 to the late Roy T. and Mary LaVerne (Starnes) Crownover. Bruce was a graduate of Franklin County High School and University of Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree. He served his country in the United States Army and then worked in the floral industry. Bruce was an avid University of Tennessee fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis Lee “Denny” Crownover and Jimmy Wayne Crownover; and beloved dog, Chance. Bruce is survived by his brother, Randy Crownover of Winchester; and nephews, Tracy Crownover, Cameron Crownover, and Jordan Crownover; and great-nephew, Sheldon Crownover. Visitation will be from 12-1 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
