Brian Anthony Hocutt, age 60, of Union Grove, Alabama passed away midday Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Marshall Medical Center North. Brian was born October 15, 1965 in Brimingham, Al, son of Paul McKinley Hocutt, Jr and Juanita Rabon Hocutt. Brian had relocated to the Arab area over 30 years ago, coming from Birmingham, AL. He and wife, Diana Christina Boyett, have shared over 20 years together.
Brian was a truck driver doing commercial hauling. He was also an accomplished and skilled painter, owner and operator of his own business. Brian loved spending quality time with his family, especially his children and grandson.
Brian is survived by his wife, Diana Boyett; children, James Dylan, Michael Tyler, and Courtney Lorene; mother, Juanita Hocutt; sister, Phyllis Sorrell; brothers, Vincent Hocutt (Roxanne), Ken Downey (Kellie); grandson, Axel Meckling, six nieces and nephews, thirteen great nieces and nephews, and five great great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Hocutt, Jr; brother, Richard Hocutt; Grandpa, Paul Hocutt Sr; Grandma, Hazel Hocutt; Grandpa, Thomas Rabon; Grandma, Alma Rabon.
The family has chosen to honor Brian’s wishes for cremation with no public services. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
