Brenda Sue Morgan, age 50, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away at her home on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Ira “Mickey” Morgan and Christine Brown. Brenda attended Somerville Elementary School, Oak Park Middle School and Decatur High School before attending Calhoun Community College, University of Alabama, Birmingham and University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
She was a member of the Vineyard Church of Cincinnati, Ohio. Brenda was the very definition of a free spirit who lived her life to the fullest. She cared deeply for family and friends and was beloved by everyone who made her acquaintance. Quick with a smile, a laugh or a joke, she always made everyone feel welcome regardless of the situation. Brenda’s love for friends, life and new experiences moved her away from her longtime home of Decatur, Alabama, but her heart never left and she talked fondly of her time and friends there often.
Brenda is survived by her brothers, Alex and Michael and sisters, Mary Lou Brown, Pam Morgan Mullis, Deana Anderson and joins her late sister, Katy Antal. She leaves behind countless loving relatives and friends. Brenda requested a small private service. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and love for Brenda.
