Brenda Harris Graves, 74 of Arab passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at her residence. Brenda was born May 31, 1948, in Arab the daughter of Robert Ellis Harris and Mamie Hunkeapillar Harris. She was a graduate of Arab High School class of 1966 and a retiree of the Chrysler Corporation. She was preceded in death by her husband: Terry Graves, parents: Ellis and Mamie Harris and a sister: Martha Harris Cothren.
She is survived by her children: Wendy Graves and Casey Graves, sisters: Linda Murphree and husband Deon, Sandra Handley and husband Jerry, brother: Michael Harris and wife: Genia; nieces and nephews: Rena Harris Carrington, Sarah Cothren, Jarrod Handley (Brittani), Brittnee Ward (Clark) and Jeremy Handley (Brittany), along with eight great nieces and nephews, host of other relatives and many dear friends.
There will be a celebration of her life at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Gober Funeral Chapel with eulogy by Jerry and Sandra Handley. Entombment will be in the Brookwood Mausoleum. There will be no visitation prior to the celebration service.
