Brenda Gayle Morris Hibler, age 64 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. She was born in Tullahoma on May 21, 1959, to the late Zebbie and Nina Simmons. In her younger years, Brenda was employed at Lanier, CKR, and Monday Market before she went home to be a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, especially Christmas movies and their Christmas in July programs, as well as playing games and working puzzles. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished the time spent with them, especially her grandsons. Brenda had the “gift of gab” and was a caring person who truly was concerned about the well-being of others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her baby brother, Ronnie Simmons. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of twenty-five years, Howard Hibler; daughters, Stephanie Summers and Faith McKinney; grandsons, Ryan Summers and Preston Reed; brothers, Eugene (Kathy) Simmons, Rickey Simmons, Danny (Connie) Simmons, Robert (Connie) Simmons, and Kevin (Sarah) Simmons; sisters-in-law, Nancy Hibler and Suzanne Hibler; brother and sister-in-law, Paul (Carrie) Hibler; mother-in-law, Nathalia “Kitty” Hibler-Hankins; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Lance) Harris, Jessica Partin, Tabitha (Ryan) Ferrell, Brandi Simmons, Lena (Calem) Hill, Brian Simmons, and Brandon (Morgan) Simmons; and several great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
