SHEFFIELD-The Sheffield Police Department kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the unveiling of their newest police cruiser. Pink…of course! The car was unveiled on a very rainy October 1st morning.
Police and Fire were there to help with the premiere of the Pink Patrol Car as well as breast cancer survivors who signed the hood of the car which will be auctioned and the proceeds
going to the Brat Pack and Bosom Buddies.
As well as the auctioned hood of the Pink Patrol Car the Sheffield Police will be selling T-shirts for $15.00. You can purchase the shirts at The Rak, Discount Dans and Zoey Belle’s or at the Municipal Building.
The Sheffield Police Survivor Car will be at the following locations in the next days. Florence First Fridays 4:30 PM-6:30 PM. Champys Chicken 7:00 PM-10:00 PM on October 2nd, 2015. St. Florian’s Oktobterfest 8:30AM-10-30AM. Shoals Kia 11:00AM-3:00PM on October 3rd 2015. Sheffield Police are encouraging all survivors to sign the hood.
