Brandon Bush, age 34, of Birmingham, AL, passed away on August 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
Brandon Bush, age 34, of Birmingham, AL, passed away on August 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.Born on April 6, 1991, Brandon attended Athens High School in Athens, AL, and briefly studied at the University of Alabama, where he cultivated a deep love for the arts and fashion. His journey was marked by passion and purpose. He worked in both modeling and retail, where his eye for detail, effortless charm, and impeccable style made him unforgettable. Whether behind the scenes or in front of the camera, Brandon carried himself with authenticity.
He is survived by his father, Otis Bush (Toni); brothers Charles Sarpy, Malcom Bush, Marlon Bush (Shalonda), and Otis Bush Jr.; grandmothers Mary Bush and Sarah Shoemate; uncles Jerry Bush (Charlene), Darrell Bush (LeTricia), Donald Bush (Elenor), DeWayne Emerson, and Darrell Emerson; aunts Audriena Bush, Lecia Outlaw, Jacke Bush, and LaKisha Bush. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, cousins, family, friends, a special cousin, Madison Blackney, and special friend JT. Schill.
Brandon was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Marlene Emerson-Bush; grandfather, Wade Jones; and uncle, Joseph Bush.
A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held on August 26, 2025, at Spry Funeral Home, 804 US Hwy 72 W, Athens, AL 35611. Viewing will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM.
