Bonnie Sue Funderburk Roberts, 72, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at her home in Aberdeen. Born on October 9, 1951 in Monroe County, she was a daughter to Roscoe and Loretta Moffett Funderburk. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. She had worked in the furniture industry and later worked in arts and crafts making T-shirts and attended many festivals. She enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her puppy, Little Bit and she was a member of River Bend Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Roy McHenry officiating. Burial will follow in the New Prospect Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Tony Bailey (Felicia) of Prairie; one daughter, Tracy Budgins (A.J.) of Columbus; one brother, Jimmy Funderburk of Hamilton; one sister, Peggy English (George) of Aberdeen; three grandchildren, Cassidy Budgins, Harley Reeves, and John Ashton Budgins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronnie Funderburk and Gary Funderburk; and husband, Jerry Roberts.
Visitation will be on Monday from 11 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
