Bonnie June Tubbs Davidson Godden, aged 85 of Oakman went to be with the Lord June 9th, 2023 . She was one of nine children born to Arlie and Barbara Tubbs June 8th, 1938
She loved her family, big gardens, flowers, embroidery, quilting, and fishing. From the time she was a child plowing behind a mule, she always continued to work hard her whole life providing for her family.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Barbara Tubbs; former spouse Leroy Davidson and husband Larry Godden; sisters Mary Willis, Bennie Simpson, Arlene Martin and Nancy Ramey; and brothers Bill, Dan and Tom Tubbs.
She is survived by her brother Robert Tubbs (Martha), daughter Barbara Davidson Brasfield (David), sons Jeff Davidson (Brandy), A.J Davidson (Carol) and Leroy Davidson (Rhonda). Grandchildren Melissa Brasfield Beyer (Mike), Amber Davidson Lemon (Will), Allison and Braxton Davidson, and Kristen Stevens. Great-grandchildren, Piper and Morgan Stevens, and Colton Davidson, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Tubbs Church of Christ Cemetery at 11 am, Saturday June 17th Brother Wayne Abbott officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Dutton Hill Baptist Church.
